Two Years In, What Would You Improve About the Gaobo Power?
Players, the Recter Gaobo Power rubber has been on the market for two years — springy and transparent, with maxed-out quality, and players love it.
Gaobo Power plays very easy and light. It has a quite nice built-in energy feel; with one or two coats of inorganic glue it lands on the table easily, with a good arc. It also transmits power well, with no real threshold for generating force.
While its transparency is good, the feel is fairly lively. With moderate tackiness, its friction and ball-holding are quite good, while the drag is not so strong as to hurt speed buildup. The weight is fairly friendly too.
If Gaobo Power were to release a new version, which performance aspects would you most want optimized or added? It is worth thinking through what would push an already well-rounded, easygoing built-in-energy rubber a step further: more bottom power, more spin, a crisper rebound, or steadier quality control.
