This issue’s blades: Leishen Wei Shihao ARC and SARC outer series

Test setup: forehand Pinyi Cuifeng (Peak Crusher), backhand Pinyi Zhenhai (Sea Quaker)

Summing up a blade in one paragraph, this issue let’s do something a little different.

Mogu’s quick take

Wei Shihao ARC

Light and airy in feel, clean-releasing, fairly crisp, with a great arc and built-in margin for error, but the power and deep power are average. Suits beginner-to-intermediate players. A looping blade that’s great for practice. At 228 RMB, with good workmanship, the value is excellent.

Wei Shihao SARC

Super ARC fiber. The feel is a bit heavier than the ARC, losing some of the clean release and control, but the hitting quality goes up by 1 to 1.5 levels, with a clear boost in power and an arc that’s longer and lower-flying. Suits competitive players chasing greater firepower. A quick-attack-and-loop blade. At 288 RMB, it’s right up Mogu’s aesthetic alley.
