World Rankings: Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha Lead Singles; Harimoto/Otsuki Reach No. 1 in Women’s Doubles
On June 15, the ITTF released its Week 25 world rankings for 2026.
Among the Chinese players in the men’s singles top 10, Wang Chuqin sits at No. 1 and Lin Shidong at No. 5. Other Chinese players inside the top 50 include Wen Ruibo (13th), Xiang Peng (16th), Zhou Qihao (21st), Chen Yuanyu (23rd), Liang Jingkun (27th) and Chen Junsong (35th). Lim Jonghoon, the men’s singles champion at the WTT Contender Zagreb, climbed nine places to No. 31, while runner-up An Jaehyun rose four spots to No. 22.
In women’s singles, Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu hold the top two positions, with Chen Xingtong, Chen Yi, Kuai Man and Wang Yidi ranked fifth through eighth. Other Chinese players in the top 50 are Shi Xunyao (14th), Qin Yuxuan (29th) and He Zhuojia (40th). Zagreb quarterfinalist Hirano Miu jumped five places to No. 32, and round-of-16 player Shan Xiaona rose 10 spots to No. 78.
In doubles, France’s Lebrun brothers remain the men’s No. 1, while China’s Lin Shidong/Huang Youzheng — Zagreb runners-up — moved up to No. 2. Japan’s Harimoto Miwa/Otsuki Satsuki, who won the women’s doubles title in Zagreb, reached the top of the women’s doubles ranking this week for their first-ever world No. 1. Korea’s Lim Jonghoon/Shin Yubin stay first in mixed doubles, while Hong Kong’s Wong Chun Ting/Doo Hoi Kem, the Zagreb mixed champions, climbed one place to No. 4.
