Wong Chun Ting/Doo Hoi Kem Crowned in Mixed Doubles; Lin Shidong/Huang Youzheng in Men’s Doubles Final — WTT Contender Zagreb

The 2026 WTT Contender Zagreb first decided its mixed doubles champion, with the men’s, women’s and doubles finals also now set.

Hong Kong’s Wong Chun Ting/Doo Hoi Kem took the mixed doubles title, recovering from two games down to win three in a row for a 3-2 comeback over Japan’s Togami Shunsuke/Otsuki Satsuki.

In the men’s singles quarterfinals played earlier, Chen Junsong — who had knocked out Lin Shidong 3-2 — could go no further, losing 3-0 to An Jaehyun after dropping a tight opener 10-12. In the other quarterfinal, Chen Yuanyu recovered from a game down to beat Japan’s Shinozuka Hiroto, but then fell to An Jaehyun in the semifinals. The men’s singles final will be an all-Korea affair between An Jaehyun and Lim Jonghoon, who beat Croatia’s Pucar and Germany’s Qiu Dang in the last eight and four.

In women’s singles, China’s last player standing, Chen Yi, lost a five-game quarterfinal to Japan’s Yokoi Saki. Chen took the first 11-5 before Yokoi turned it around 13-11, 12-10; Chen forced a decider by winning the fourth 11-8, but Yokoi built an early lead in the fifth to close it 11-6. Yokoi could not progress either, falling 3-1 in the semifinals to Macao’s Zhu Yuling, who will meet Harimoto Miwa for the title.

The doubles semifinals were also completed. In men’s doubles China went 1-1: Lin Shidong/Huang Youzheng beat Croatia’s Gacina/Ivor Ban 3-1, while Wen Ruibo/Yuan Licen led 2-1 before being overturned by Lim Jonghoon/Oh Junsung — setting up a Lin/Huang vs Lim/Oh final. In women’s doubles, Chen Yi/Kuai Man lost 3-1 to top seeds Harimoto Miwa/Otsuki Satsuki, who will face Korea’s Lee Eunhye/Choi Hyojoo for the title.
