Luneng, Weiqiao, Shanghai, and Huangshi Advance to Table Tennis Super League Finals
The second leg of the 2026 Table Tennis Super League concluded today, with the women’s team competition seeing Shandong Luneng, Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports, Shanghai Center, and Huangshi Dongchu securing the top four spots to advance to the finals. Shandong Luneng topped the regular season standings with three consecutive wins in the round-robin stage. 
Shandong Luneng vs. Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports
In the ‘Group 2’ matchup, Shandong Luneng defeated Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports with a score of 8-3. The first two matches ended in a 3-3 tie, with Li Rensi Jia/Hu Yi winning 2-1 against Qian Tianyi/Zhu Qihui, and Chen Xingtong losing 1-2 to Wang Yidi. From the third match onwards, the momentum shifted in favor of Shandong Luneng. Kuai Man won the third match 3-0 against He Zhuojia, and Chen Xingtong/Kuai Man followed up with a 2-0 victory over Wang Yidi/Yan Yu Tong, securing the top spot for Shandong Luneng in the regular season. 
Kuai Man, who excelled in both singles and doubles, commented after the match: ‘I lost 1-2 to He Zhuojia last time, but today I improved a lot in terms of tactical choices and managing the balance between aggression and stability. Additionally, my physical condition was better than last time, which helped me play very clearly on the court.’ Reflecting on the two legs, Kuai Man said: ‘I think I did okay in these two legs. In the first leg, my physical adjustment wasn’t great, but in the second leg, I adjusted well and performed better.’
Chen Xingtong summarized her performance: ‘I played well in singles. Last time, I was 0-2 down and managed to win a game, but this time I seized the initiative from the start. The last two games were lost on key points, so maybe my decision-making in those moments wasn’t decisive enough. This format really tests everyone’s ability, including the U19 players. I think we did well overall. Our strength lies in teamwork and accumulating points.’ 
Shanghai Center vs. Tianjin 729
In the ‘Group 1’ matchup, Shanghai Center won a hard-fought 8-5 victory against Tianjin 729 after playing all five matches. The scores seesawed back and forth. Sun Mingyang/Wang Yuan lost the first match 1-2 to Qi Fei/Jiang Yiyi, but Shi Xunyao won the second match 3-0 against Liu Gaoyang, helping Shanghai take the lead. Chen Yi lost the third match 1-2 to Liu Weishan, narrowing Tianjin 729’s deficit to just one point. In the fourth doubles match and the fifth singles match, Chen Yi/Shi Xunyao won 2-1 against Liu Weishan/Liu Gaoyang, and Sun Mingyang won 1-0 against Jiang Yiyi, allowing Shanghai Center to clinch the victory. 
Huangshi Dongchu vs. Shenzhen University
In another ‘Group 1’ match, Huangshi Dongchu defeated Shenzhen University with a score of 8-3. Yang Huize/Li Yihui won the first match 3-0 against Wei Jingming/Yao Ruixuan, setting the tone for the team. In the following three matches, Han Feier lost 1-2 to Zong Geman, Fan Shuhan won 2-1 against Qin Yuxuan, and Wang Tianyi/Han Feier won the fourth doubles match 2-0 against Qin Yuxuan/Zong Geman, allowing Huangshi Dongchu to win the match smoothly. 
East China University of Science and Technology vs. Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju
In the ‘Group 0’ matchup, East China University of Science and Technology defeated Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju. The first match saw Li Yake/Zhang Xiangyu win 2-1 against Liu Ziling/He Xiaoyu, followed by Bai Siwen’s 2-1 victory over Gao Yuxin, giving East China a 4-2 lead. In the third singles match, chopper Zhu Sibing won 3-0 against Xiang Junlin, further extending the lead for the team. Ma Xiaohui/Zhao Wangqi then took the court and won the first game 11-4 against Gao Yuxin/Xiang Junlin, securing the victory for East China University of Science and Technology.
