Chinese Table Tennis Super League: Shandong Weiqiao and Shandong Luneng Battle for Top Spot 
On July 31, 2026, the second leg of the Chinese Table Tennis Super League’s regular season commenced with the women’s round-robin matches. The first round of the women’s round-robin began at 11:00 AM.
Round-Robin First Round
Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports 8-5 East China University of Science and Technology
Shandong Weiqian·Xiangshang Sports secured an 8-5 victory over East China University of Science and Technology after a full five matches. The first two matches ended in a 3-3 tie with Qian Tianyi/Zhu Qihui winning 2-1 against Li Yake/Zhang Xiangyu, and Wang Yidi losing 1-2 to Zhu Sibing. In the following matches, He Zhuojia won 2-1 against Bai Siwen, and Wang Yidi/He Zhuojia triumphed 2-1 over Ma Xiaohui/Zhao Wangqi, giving Shandong Weiqiao a 7-5 lead. In the decisive match, Qian Tianyi defeated Zhang Xiangyu 11-5 to secure the victory for her team. 
Shanghai Center 8-4 Huangshi Dongchu
Shanghai Center defeated Huangshi Dongchu with an 8-4 scoreline. Huangshi took an early lead with Wang Tianyi/Han Feier winning 3-0 against Sun Mingyang/Wang Yuan. However, Shanghai Center gradually turned the tide, with Chen Yi winning 2-1 against Fan Shuhan, Shi Xunyao triumphing 3-0 over Li Yihui, and Chen Yi/Shi Xunyao winning 3-0 against Fan Shuhan/Li Yihui in the fourth doubles match to seal the victory. 
Shenzhen University 8-4 Tianjin 729
Shenzhen University faced Tianjin 729 in their first round-robin match. The first two matches ended in a 3-3 tie, with Wei Jingming/Yao Ruixuan losing 1-2 to Liu Weishan/Liu Gaoyang, and Zong Geman winning 2-1 against Jiang Yiyi. The third singles match proved to be the turning point, as Qin Yuxuan defeated Qi Fei in straight sets, giving Shenzhen University a 6-3 lead. In the fourth doubles match, Qin Yuxuan/Zong Geman won 2-1 against Qi Fei/Jiang Yiyi, securing an 8-4 victory for Shenzhen University. 
Shandong Luneng 8-4 Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju
Shandong Luneng also won against Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju with an 8-4 score. In the first doubles match, Li Rensija/Hu Yi lost 1-2 to Gao Yuxin/Xiang Junlin, putting Luneng temporarily behind. However, Chen Xingtong turned the match around with a 3-0 victory over Liu Ziling, giving Luneng the lead. The following matches saw Wang Xiaotong losing 1-2 to He Xiaoyu, but Chen Xingtong/Kuai Man won 3-0 against Liu Ziling/He Xiaoyu, securing the final victory for Shandong Luneng. 
Standings
Following these results, Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports, Shandong Luneng, Shanghai Center, and Shenzhen University advanced to the ‘1 Group’, while Tianjin 729, Huangshi Dongchu, East China University of Science and Technology, and Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju were relegated to the ‘0 Group’.

’1 Group’ Matches
Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports 8-6 Shanghai Center
The match between Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports and Shanghai Center was decided in the final set. The first set saw Qian Tianyi/Zhu Qihui losing 1-2 to Sun Mingyang/Wang Yuan, putting Weiqiao behind. Wang Yidi then won 3-0 against Chen Yi to help Weiqiao regain the lead. However, He Zhuojia lost 1-2 to Shi Xunyao, and Wang Yidi/He Zhuojia lost 1-2 to Chen Yi/Shi Xunyao, tying the match at 6-6. In the decisive set, Chen Yi defeated Sun Mingyang in straight sets, helping Shandong Weiqiao win 8-6. 
Shandong Luneng 8-2 Shenzhen University
Shandong Luneng defeated Shenzhen University with an 8-2 score. In the first doubles match, Qin Yuxuan/Zong Geman won 2-1 against Li Rensija/Hu Yi, giving Shenzhen University a temporary lead. However, Chen Xingtong’s 3-0 victory over Yao Ruixuan shifted the momentum in favor of Shandong Luneng. The subsequent matches saw Kuai Man winning 3-0 against Wei Jingming, and Chen Xingtong/Kuai Man winning 1-0 against Wei Jingming/Yao Ruixuan, leading to a comfortable victory for Shandong Luneng. 
‘0 Group’ Matches
Tianjin 729 8-3 East China University of Science and Technology
Tianjin 729 won against East China University of Science and Technology with an 8-3 score. The first two matches saw Qi Fei/Jiang Yiyi winning 2-1 against Li Yake/Zhang Xiangyu, and Liu Gaoyang triumphing 3-0 over Zhu Sibing, giving Tianjin 729 a 5-1 lead. Liu Weishan then played, losing 1-2 to Bai Siwen in the third singles match, but she teamed up with Liu Gaoyang to win 2-0 against Ma Xiaohui/Zhao Wangqi in the fourth doubles match, securing the victory for Tianjin 729. 
Huangshi Dongchu 8-5 Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju
Huangshi Dongchu and Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju battled to a decisive final set. The first two matches ended in a 3-3 tie, with Wang Tianyi/Han Feier winning 2-1 against Gao Yuxin/Xiang Junlin, and Fan Shuhan losing 1-2 to Liu Ziling. From the third set onwards, Huangshi Dongchu gained an advantage, with Li Yihui winning 2-1 against He Xiaoyu, and Yang Huize/Li Yihui winning 2-1 against Liu Ziling/He Xiaoyu. Han Feier then won the final set 1-0 against Gao Yuxin, leading Huangshi Dongchu to an 8-5 victory.
