2026 Chinese Table Tennis Super League: Four Teams Advance to Finals
The second leg of the 2026 Chinese Table Tennis Super League concluded today, with four teams securing their spots in the finals. In the women’s team event, Shandong Luneng, Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports, Shanghai Center, and Huangshi Dongchu emerged as the top four teams, with Shandong Luneng claiming the top seed after a flawless three-match winning streak in the regular season. 
Shandong Luneng vs. Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports
In the ‘Group 2’ matchup, Shandong Luneng triumphed over Shandong Weiqiao·Xiangshang Sports with an 8-3 victory. The first two matches ended in a 3-3 tie, with Li Rensi Jia/Hu Yi defeating Qian Tianyi/Zhu Qihui 2-1, and Chen Xingtong losing to Wang Yidi 1-2. From the third match onward, Shandong Luneng gained momentum as Kuai Man won her match against He Zhuojia 3-0, and Chen Xingtong/Kuai Man secured a 2-0 victory over Wang Yidi/Yan Yu Tong, solidifying their lead and clinching the top spot in the regular season. 
Kuai Man, who excelled in both singles and doubles, commented after the match: “I lost 1-2 to He Zhuojia last time, but today I improved in my tactical choices and the balance between aggression and stability. My physical condition was also better, which helped me play more clearly.” Reflecting on the two legs, she added: “I performed decently in these two legs. In the first leg, my physical adjustment wasn’t great, but in the second leg, I adjusted well and played better.”
Chen Xingtong summarized her performance: “I played well in singles. Last time, I was 0-2 down and won a game, but this time I seized the initiative early on. The last two games were lost on key points, and I think my decision-making in those moments wasn’t decisive enough. This format really tests everyone’s ability, including the U19 players. I think we did well overall, and our strength lies in our teamwork.” 
Shanghai Center vs. Tianjin 729
In the ‘Group 1’ match, Shanghai Center narrowly defeated Tianjin 729 with an 8-5 victory after a full five matches. The scores seesawed back and forth, with Sun Mingyang/Wang Yuan losing the first match 1-2 to Qi Fei/Jiang Yiyi, but Shi Xunyao winning the second match 3-0 against Liu Gaoyang, helping Shanghai take the lead. 
Chen Yi lost the third match 1-2 to Liu Weishan, narrowing the gap to just one point. However, Chen Yi/Shi Xunyao won the fourth match 2-1 against Liu Weishan/Liu Gaoyang, and Sun Mingyang clinched the victory with a 1-0 win over Jiang Yiyi in the fifth match, securing the win for Shanghai Center.
Huangshi Dongchu vs. Shenzhen University
In another ‘Group 1’ match, Huangshi Dongchu defeated Shenzhen University with an 8-3 victory. Yang Huize/Li Yihui started strong with a 3-0 win over Wei Jingming/Yao Ruixuan, setting the tone for the match. 
East China University of Science and Technology vs. Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju
In the ‘Group 0’ match, East China University of Science and Technology defeated Chengdu High-tech Ruoshuiju with an 8-2 victory. Li Yake/Zhang Xiangyu won the first match 2-1 against Liu Ziling/He Xiaoyu, and Bai Siwen followed up with a 2-1 victory over Gao Yuxin, giving East China a 4-2 lead.
